Michael D. Bayliss, CPA, MST, CFP®
Michael is a shareholder and corporate officer for Wealth Strategies by Bayliss & McAninch, Inc.. His twenty distinguished years of public accounting experience are primarily concentrated in tax, auditing and consulting for a variety of industries including banking, mortgage brokers, real estate development and syndication, construction, retail and professional groups. Over the last several years, he has concentrated on helping individuals and organizations navigate financial management planning and investment management.
With a Bachelors degree in Business Administration, emphasis in accounting, from Black Hills State College and a Masters degree in taxation from Golden Gate University, Mr. Bayliss obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certification in 2003. He is a licensed life and health agent in Nevada and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) – Personal Financial Planning Section, the Nevada Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Financial Planning Association. He held the NASD Series 24, 7 and 66 licenses before converting to a fee only RIA. Mr. Bayliss also serves on the Sage Ridge School Board of Trustees and Finance Committee.

Carrie L. McAninch
Carrie L. McAninch, is a shareholder and corporate officer for Wealth Strategies by Bayliss & McAninch, Inc. Specializing in representing clients involved in real estate ownership and development, Ms. McAninch’s education and experience is an outstanding compliment to clients seeking specialized, strategic real estate investment direction.
Ms. McAninch received her undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting and Economics from the University of Puget Sound in Washington. She spent two years working in public accounting and the next twelve within the biotechnology industry as a Cost Accountant, Senior Cost Analyst, Senior Production Planner, Manager of Manufacturing Operations and Vice President of Operations. She is a Nevada licensed Real Estate Agent and before converting to a fee only RIA she held NASD Series 7 and 66 licenses. She is a past board member of the Carson Tahoe Hospital Foundation and is currently an executive board member of ARC Urgent Care. Additionally, Ms. McAninch has personally held 1st and 2nd deeds of trust in multiple private real estate loans, positions within the equity, bond and mutual fund markets and other limited partnerships interests.

Duke Kelley, CPA, MAcc, CVA
Mr.
Kelley specializes in business valuations and taxation. In this capacity,
Mr. Kelley offers expert advice to small to medium sized businesses on a
wide range of business issues, including strategic planning, that helps to
determine the risk factors that are specific to every business.
With a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, major
accounting, from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a
Master of Accountancy from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State
University, Mr. Kelley has spent the past 9 years serving a wide range of
clients. He has also earned the Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA)
designation from the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.

Lisa Murguia, CMC
As
a certified medical coder,
Ms. Murguia specializes in medical billing management,
providing full service billing management services to a wide range of
medical practices throughout northern Nevada. Her current practice and
experience is focused on billing and collections of patient accounts for
medical practices, as well as day-to-day and monthly accounting and
long-term practice management.
With a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management
from the University of Phoenix, certification from the Practice
Management Institute as a Certified Medical Coder, and professional
development certification from the University of Nevada, Reno in Human
Resource Management, Ms. Murguia’s capabilities are drawn from skills
advanced through higher education, 15 years of collection experience, 20
years of accounting experience, razor-sharp awareness of industry
changes, and state of the art equipment.

Gayle Robertson
Ms. Robertson specializes in taxation. With a degree

Mrs. Yasmer is dedicated to the day to day operations and administration of Wealth Strategies. She is available to assist you with scheduling your appointments and can happily provide you with general information and direction. With 16 years of office manager industry experience, Mrs. Yasmer is a valuable resource for the entire Wealth Strategies team.

William "Fergi" Fergus, JR
William "Fergi" Fergus, JR has served as Business Development Director Bayliss and Associates since early 2008. Fergus, a long-time financial services executive, leads service development and alliances with local entrepreneurs, investors, land owners and medical/dental practices. Fergus has a 29-year background in the financial services industry and most recently as vice president of Irwin Union Bank where he initiated new customer contacts that resulted in sustained growth for the company. Fergus' industry experience includes banking, government and hospitality and spans both finances and human resources.
